Description

0722 PROT 25 is a pigeon from a family combining Jelle Jellema, Eric Limbourg, Ganus Family Loft and South African One Loft Race bloodlines. Its sire, 366 TRPF 24, is a proven Carnival Summer 2025 performer, while the dam, 946 GFL 24, carries ancestry linked in the pedigree to National Ace Pigeon and Million Dollar Race winners.

Sire-side performance

366 TRPF 24 — sire of 0722 PROT 25

The pedigree records these results for 366 TRPF 24 in Carnival Summer 2025:

  • 5th — Final Race
  • 3rd — Ace Bird
  • 81st — Hotspot 3
  • 55th — Hotspot 2
  • 149th — Hotspot 1

These results are also supported by a auction listing for 366 TRPF 24, which identifies the bird as a 3rd Ace Pigeon and 5th-place final finisher. The listing records a completed sale at R25,000 in March 2025.

Sire's ancestry

  • 1165985 NL 20: Identified as a son of the Jelle Jellema lines NJJ and Victoria. Its ancestry includes New Jade I and Victoria.
  • 1040735 NL 14 — New Jade 1: The pedigree associates this line with Batenburg/Jellema.
  • 9296 TRPF 16: The pedigree states that her father came from Mark de Kock's Eric Limbourg strain and that she is a half-sister to Flaming Heart, recorded as 5th Ace Bird at Victoria Falls OLR in 2017.

The wider Jelle Jellema ancestry is associated with distance-racing pigeons, but the most directly relevant documented performance for this mating is the sire's own Carnival Summer result.

Dam-side bloodlines and major winners

946 GFL 24 — dam of 0722 PROT 25

The pedigree describes this hen as “Will Breed Winners.” That is a breeder's description, not a documented race result for 946 GFL 24 herself. Her listed ancestry includes Archangel and Triple Ace.

  • 190 GFL 18 — “Archangel”: Its listed ancestry includes two notable One Loft Race performers:
    • 371 GFL 17 — “Red Monkey”: Recorded as the 1st-place Victoria Falls OLR final winner. A separate published pedigree also identifies Red Monkey as the Victoria Falls final winner against 1,128 pigeons.
    • 83192 ARPU 16 — “Little Miss Nikki”: Recorded in the pedigree as a 1st-place South Africa Million Dollar Pigeon Race winner. An independent report confirms that Little Miss Nikki won the 2017 race and approximately US$325,096, and was subsequently sold at auction for US$25,800. These achievements belong to Little Miss Nikki, not 0722 PROT 25.

Elimar Pigeon Services Limited

  • 107 SLOV 22 — “Triple Ace”: Identified in the pedigree as a 1st National Ace Pigeon. Its listed parents are 2035 DV 21, “Pure Magic,” described as the father of a 1st National Ace, and 101 SLOV 21, “Future Queen,” recorded as a daughter of 6344, also described as a 1st National Ace Pigeon.
  • 0849 DV 14 — “Sanjay 1”: Listed in the dam's wider ancestry. The pedigree associates this line with Karl-Heinz Koch. PIPA independently confirms Sanjay 1 won the 2015 South African Million Dollar Pigeon Race final against 2,453 pigeons.
