Description

The pedigree is a particularly concentrated mating of two internationally documented families: the Dirk Van Den Bulck Kittel family and the Geerinckx/PIPA Elite Center Porsche 911 family.

SIRE SIDE

1431 ZA 24 ABL

The direct sire of 2207 is 1431 ZA 24 ABL, bred by Alwyn Bester from what the pedigree describes as his best available Kittel blood. His sire is:

1008 DV 21 01769 – “Kittel x Kittel 1008”

The pedigree describes 1008 as a direct son of Kittel mated to a granddaughter of Kittel, produced through a brother-to-sister mating.

This creates a very high concentration of the original Kittel genetics.

A separate Alwyn Bester auction confirms 1008 DV 21 01769 as “Kittel x Kittel 1008” and describes the same direct-son × granddaughter Kittel breeding. That pigeon was subsequently used in Alwyn Bester breeding stock.

KITTEL – Major International Ancestor

The pedigree repeatedly returns to the famous Kittel – BELG 13-6139803.

The supplied pedigree records:

Kittel

  • Dirk Van Den Bulck
  • 1st National Ace KBDB 2013
  • Blue Bar
  • Foundation of the Kittel family appearing throughout the pedigree.

Independent Herbots documentation confirms Kittel as:

1st National Ace KBDB Young Birds/Sprint 2013.

Published racing records also give Kittel a series of major results, including:

  • 1st Quievrain – 2,089 pigeons
  • 1st Quievrain – 1,792 pigeons
  • 2nd Quievrain – 2,023 pigeons
  • 3rd Quievrain – 2,443 pigeons
  • 4th Quievrain – 2,121 pigeons
  • 9th Quievrain – 1,934 pigeons
  • 15th Quievrain – 1,421 pigeons
  • 27th Quievrain – 1,013 pigeons.

Herbots also documents the famous Kittel × Olympic Rosita breeding combination and the importance of Kittel's descendants as breeders.

KITTEL FAMILY – SIBLINGS & RELATED WINNERS

The pedigree contains several direct and close Kittel relatives.

Greipel

Greipel – BELG 13-6139849

Documented as:

  • 6th National Ace KBDB Sprint 2013
  • Full brother to Kittel
  • Son of Goede Rode × Olympic Rosita

Herbots confirms Greipel's 6th National Ace position and his direct relationship to Kittel.

New Kittel

The same Kittel family produced New Kittel, documented as an Olympic-level performer. Herbots records the Kittel family as producing New Kittel as well as Greipel.

Olympic Rosita

Olympic Rosita is one of the key hens behind Kittel.

She is documented as:

  • 1st Olympic Ace Pigeon – Category F, Nitra 2013
  • Mother of Kittel
  • Mother of Greipel and other major Van Den Bulck performers.

The pedigree for 2207 contains multiple descendants of this family, making the Kittel concentration considerably more than a single appearance of the name.

SUPER BLUE – 1418637 NLD 19

Another major pigeon on the sire side is:

1418637 NLD 19 – “SUPER BLUE”

The pedigree states that this hen is:

  • Grandmother of ZA PWDU 9849 2020
  • Grandmother of ZA PWDU 9060 2020
  • Grandmother of the 3rd World Allround Best Bird 2021
  • Grandmother of a pigeon described as a 6 × SANPO Gold Medal winner
  • Grandmother of the 2nd best Middle Distance bird in PWDU
  • A breeder of numerous successful children.

This is a significant South African performance connection.

ZA PWDU 9849 2020 – TURBO KITTEL

The pedigree's Super Blue line leads to:

ZA PWDU 9849 2020 – “Turbo Kittel”

External Alwyn Bester auction material identifies this pigeon as a major South African performer, described as:

  • 3rd World Allround Best Bird 2021
  • 6 × SANPO Gold Medal winner
  • One of the leading pigeons associated with the Alwyn Bester/Van Den Bulck breeding programme.

The market value of the immediate family is substantial.

ZA ABL 167 2020, identified as the dam of Turbo Kittel, was sold for:

R338,000

This price is repeatedly documented in later Alwyn Bester auction pedigrees.

The same family has continued producing auctionable offspring. For example, several 2026 Kittel-family pigeons bred through the Alwyn Bester programme sold between approximately R2,000 and R9,500, while other closely related examples achieved substantially higher prices.

ZA PWDU 9060 2020

The same 1418637 Super Blue family is identified on the pedigree as grandmother of:

ZA PWDU 9060 2020

The pedigree records this pigeon as:

2nd best Middle Distance bird in PWDU.

Thus, the sire side of 2207 contains documented South African performance genetics in addition to the original Belgian Kittel bloodline.

DAM SIDE

9508740 NL 23 – “PORSCHE 740”

The direct dam of 2207 is:

9508740 NL 23 – “Porsche 740”

The pedigree describes her as:

  • PIPA Elite Center
  • Blue Bar
  • Grandchild of Porsche 911
  • Grandchild of Porsche 911's full siblings, including Macan
  • Very heavily inbred to Wacko Freddy and Lieve.

Alwyn Bester's own website currently lists NL 23 9508740 “Porsche 740” with exactly this breeding description.

PORSCHE 911 – Major Geerinckx Family

The dam line contains:

BE 14-2230911 – “Porsche 911”

The pedigree identifies Porsche 911 as:

  • Geerinckx
  • 5th National Ace KBDB GMD 2015
  • 7th National Ace Châteauroux against 25,617 pigeons.

Independent documentation confirms:

Porsche 911

  • 5th National Ace KBDB Great Middle Distance Yearlings 2015
  • 7th National Châteauroux – 25,617 pigeons
  • 11th National Bourges – 21,484 pigeons
  • 52nd National Montluçon – 16,982 pigeons

Porsche 911 is also recorded as a full brother to Boxster, an 8th National Ace.

WACKO FREDDY × LIEVE

The Porsche 911 family is based on the famous:

Wacko Freddy × Lieve

pair.

This pair is repeatedly documented as the foundation of the Porsche 911 line.

PIPA Elite Center/Geerinckx material identifies Porsche 911 as their offspring, while later international auction pedigrees continue to describe Wacko Freddy and Lieve as the foundation pair behind the Porsche family.

A published auction description states that Porsche 911's descendants include multiple National and Provincial winners. Another South African auction listing describes Porsche 911 as a sire/grandsire of numerous high-level winners.

MACAN

The pedigree also includes:

MACAN

The pedigree identifies Macan as a full brother to Porsche 911 and records him as:

8th Best Yearling Long Distance – 3 races.

Therefore, 2207 does not only descend from Porsche 911 itself; its dam is described as a grandchild of Porsche 911 and his full brother Macan, reinforcing the concentration of this family.

PORSCHE 183 / PORSCHE SISTERS

The pedigree also contains close Porsche relatives:

Porsche 183

  • Full sister to Porsche 911
  • 5th National Ace KBDB 2015 is associated with the Porsche family.

Sister Porsche 911

  • Full sister to Porsche 911.

Queen

  • Bred from full-sister/full-brother mating back to Porsche 911
  • Double grandchild of Wacko Freddy and Lieve.

Mister Porsche

  • Geerinckx
  • Inbred full-brother/full-sister mating back to Porsche 911.

The dam of 2207 therefore contains multiple layers of Porsche 911 / Wacko Freddy / Lieve genetics.

AUCTION & COMMERCIAL RECORDS

There is substantial market evidence for these families.

Alwyn Bester Kittel family

ZA ABL 167 2020 – dam of Turbo Kittel

  • Documented sale: R338,000.

ZA 22 ABL 882

  • Full brother to ZA ABL 167
  • Sold for R162,000.

ZA 25 ABL 2095

  • Sire: 1431 ZA 24 ABL, the same direct sire as 2207
  • Dam: full sister to ZA ABL 167
  • Sold for R21,000.

ZA 25 ABL 2096

  • Sire: 1431 ZA 24 ABL, same direct sire as 2207
  • Dam: full sister to Turbo Kittel's dam
  • Sold for R25,000.

These two sales are particularly relevant because 2207's direct sire, 1431 ZA 24 ABL, has already produced auctioned offspring at R21,000 and R25,000.

Porsche 740 / Dam-Side Market Evidence

NL 23 9508740 “Porsche 740” is the direct dam of 2207.

The same hen has produced other Alwyn Bester auction pigeons.

For example:

ZA 25 ABL 2048

  • Dam: 9508740 NL 23 Porsche 740
  • Same dam as 2207
  • Sold for R5,000 in September 2026.

Another Alwyn Bester auction listing records ZA 25 ABL 2023 with the same Porsche 740 dam and a R3,000 winning bid.

These are direct market records for offspring of 2207's dam.

Porsche 911 Auction Evidence

A 2024 South African auction pigeon, ZA-1009-2023, was bred with heavy inbreeding to:

  • Porsche 911
  • Wacko Freddy
  • Lieve

It sold for:

R6,500

The auction description specifically identified Porsche 911 as a sire/grandsire of numerous National and Provincial winners.

A 2026 auction also recorded:

NL 25 1475948

  • Directly from BE 20-4158073 “Mister Porsche”
  • Sold for R14,000.

BE 20-4158073 “Mister Porsche” is itself represented in the pedigree of 2207 as the sire of 9508740 Porsche 740.

International Performance Genetics

The dam side therefore carries documented Belgian national-level performances through Porsche 911.

Porsche 911

5th National Ace KBDB GMD 2015

Porsche 911

7th National Châteauroux – 25,617 pigeons

Porsche 911

11th National Bourges – 21,484 pigeons

Porsche 911

52nd National Montluçon – 16,982 pigeons

Boxster

8th National Ace KBDB Long Distance Yearlings 2015.

The Kittel side adds a different international profile:

Kittel

1st National Ace KBDB Sprint Young Birds 2013

Greipel

6th National Ace KBDB Sprint 2013

Olympic Rosita

1st Olympic Ace Pigeon – Category F, Nitra 2013.

This gives 2207 both Belgian sprint/ace genetics through Kittel and Belgian middle/long-distance ace genetics through Porsche 911/Geerinckx.
