THE PARENTS

 SIRE — 1470 ZA 21 GPU “TADEJ”

His 2023 racing positions in Boksburg Combined Racing Pigeon Club were:

10th, 9th, 2nd, 3rd, 27th, 5th and 6th.

 TADEJ'S FAMILY — WINNING OFFSPRING

 DAUGHTER — “DTR TADEJ'S KITTEL”

6th place — AfrikaPro 2025 Race 9 — 508 km

 SON — “SON TADEJ'S KITTEL”

36th place — AfrikaPro 2025 Final — 601 km

 And then 5462 himself:

3rd Ace Pigeon — Marlbank OLR 2026

So the family now has documented performance across AfrikaPro and Marlbank, with 5462 being the standout Ace result.

TADEJ'S SIRE — 10150 ZA 16

The pedigree traces TADEJ back to 10150 ZA 16, described as a Tom Lock/R100,000 × Witoog line.

This is another major performance-producing branch.

Offspring include:

 HOPE

18th Hotspot 2 — Central Provincial Lofts 2020

320 km at 1,330 m/min.

 VICTORIA

Winner — 9th Race/Penultimate — Diaz One Loft 2021

197 km at 1,455 m/min.

 STORMKIND

Nestmate/sister of Victoria and mother of ZA SANPO 13142 '22 “JEANNIE”, which was an equal Final winner at Dinokeng OLR 2023.

 4797 ZA 15 “SUPER PEARL”

Another important branch behind TADEJ is:

4797 ZA 15 — “SUPER PEARL”

The pedigree describes her as:

• Twilight / Turbo Tom / Houben
• Half-sister to Golden TT
• Dam of a SANPO Gold Medal winner
• A super racing hen

Most importantly, the family record documents:

Equal winner — Dinokeng OLR Hot Spot 4, 2019
13th — Dinokeng Hot Spot 1, 2019
15th Ace Pigeon Overall — Dinokeng 2019

The breeder's current pedigree material independently repeats these performances.

That is a very useful connection for an auction listing because 5462's paternal family already produced an OLR Hot Spot winner and an overall Dinokeng Ace performer.

DAM — 1481 ZA 24 ABL

The dam is:

1481 ZA 24 ABL — “1481”

1481 is described as a foundation hen and super breeder, from the Alwyn Bester / Dirk Van Den Bulck / Kittel family.

The breeder's own current records confirm that 1481 is a full sister to the dam of Turbo Kittel.

 TURBO KITTEL FAMILY

The 1481 family connects directly into one of the most successful South African Van Den Bulck/Kittel families.

ZA PWDU 9849/2020 — “TURBO KITTEL”

• 5× winner
• 6× SANPO Gold Medal winner — 2021
• 3rd World Allround Best Bird — 2021

The pedigree and independent breeder records identify 63384 GB 18 and 1418637 NLD 19 as the grandparents of Turbo Kittel.

MORE WINNERS FROM THE SAME FAMILY

The same family has produced:

ZA ABL 604/2022

• 1st Gauteng Combine — Noupoort 2023
• Double PTA Union Winner
• 1st Crusaders Best Pigeon Overall 2023
• 1st Crusaders Yearling Pigeon 2023

And the wider family includes multiple breeding siblings:

• ZA ABL 167/21 — dam of Turbo Kittel; sold for R338,000 and recorded as dam of 13 winners.
• ZA ABL 168/21 — sold for R242,000, bred 7 winners.
• ZA ABL 518/21 — sold for R279,000, dam of 2 SANPO medal winners.
• ZA ABL 519/21 — sold for R101,500.
• ZA ABL 520/21 — sold for R41,500.
• ZA ABL 882/22 — sold for R162,000.

🧬 SUPERSPRINT KITTEL 264 CONNECTION

The Van Den Bulck side also traces into BELG 4230264/16 “SuperSprint 264.”

Out of Africa records that SuperSprint 264 became an important sire of the 63384 and 63390 superbreeding cocks used extensively in South Africa.

The family has subsequently produced:

• 1st Ace Pigeon 2019
• 1st National — 1,498 pigeons
• Multiple other Ace and prize positions
• Major AfrikaPro performers
• The Turbo Kittel family

This gives 5462 a strong Van Den Bulck/Kittel/SuperSprint 264 foundation on the maternal side.

TOM LOCK FAMILY — MORE WINNERS

The other side of 5462 brings the proven Tom Lock genetics.

The pedigree lists:

Hawk Jnr — 00355 ZA 10 OERF

Described as having bred four winners in one season with two different hens.

White Queen — 10741 ZA 07 TRPF

Recorded as a:

Yearling National Winner — THU Club Colesberg

R80,000 Super Cock — 19150 SA 02 THU

A documented 2× Union Winner and an important breeding component of the Tom Lock family.

10150 FAMILY — ADDITIONAL OLR WINNERS

The 10150 line also appears repeatedly in the breeder's current pedigrees because of its breeding record.

Among the documented descendants:

VICTORIA

1st — Diaz One Loft 2021

 STORMKIND

Mother of:

JEANNIE — equal Final winner, Dinokeng OLR 2023

 PILOT EYE

4th Ace Bird — Dinokeng OLR 2020
Also recorded 8th Barcelona 2020.

 MISS NAVIGATOR

Bakkie winner — Dinokeng OLR 2021

These records demonstrate that the Tom Lock side is itself a proven OLR-producing family, not simply a famous name in the pedigree.
